Jozy
Jozy's restless nature, a tigress
like curiosity, and the in-built limitations of being just an
Ordinary Joe Singer lead her to the iconic world of the screen,
choreography and theatre production. In this fantasy world of
make-believe Jozy has made it her life mission to show that
music is the indwelling spirit of many realities: Jozy-ology
goes something like this: "Good music is full of secrets
and shaped like a human soul. The world is composed of complex
sounds that can be analyzed into simpler and yet superior sounds,
until one arrives at primary sounds. Such primary sounds have
a curious magic all their own. The world, in one reality at
least, is layer upon layer of primary, esoteric sound. Kin Za
Za, aims to harness such sound knowledge to do battle against
the bewitchment of our intelligence by more corrupt and repetitive
forces. Jozy is passionate about originality in music creation
being a force for good. Her desire is that Kin Za Za sounds
inspire sudden wellsprings of inspiration in listeners, urging
them to swim The River. Since the beginning of the nineties
Jozy has allowed her sub-pop sensibilities to take over and
has led quite an extravagant stage life, for a time becoming
a familiar figure in the TV, theatrical and film society of
Montreal. Filmed her first short film on super8 "Remarkable
bodies" 1990, Teacher/choreographer for "EviDance"
dance company 1991, She founded an acrobatic dance group "Dance
of Digital Underground" in 1994, Worked as a singer for
a TV live show " La Fureur" (Radio Canada CBC), Toured
to U.K with experimental show "COKE" as a dancer/singer
in 2000, Over last six years performed with countless artists
& musicians of different styles and cultures. Jozy has been
honoured with several awards since the beginning of her music
career including first prize at Granby International Song Festival
1995.

"He is primarily
a songwriter, a filmmaker, a wonderer,
and wanderer
in search of how best, that strange and obscure thing
- life, ought to be lived. He sees music as an expression
of an intensely and wildly examined individual dreamscape
- striving for an expression free of gravity, finality
and limitations. He began his education at the age of four and studied
music, cinematography and literature in Russia, Britain
and Canada. At the age of fifteen, Dimitri proceeded to
Culture College in Russia, studying music and theatre. In 1996 he received a High National Certificate
in design and photography from the City of Westminster
College in London U.K. He completed an M.F.A. in Film
Production, January 2002 at Concordia University with
his short feature film "The River" and essay
